Nano facial mist: How can it help our skin?

With the changing season, there would be many products that would promise you the moon. These days we keep seeing a lot of brands for facial mist steamer doing the rounds. Today we will diagnose the utility of a facial nano mist steamer, its benefits, and the comfort that it provides as an at-home sauna!

How does a facial mist steamer help?

To our surprise, when we started to list down the benefits of a facial mist steamer, we found that the benefits are not only just skin-deep. First, the steamer is very easy to use- just fill it some normal drinking water and switch it on! Then you can put a timer according to your need and sit back, relax, and enjoy.

Using a skin steamer not only opens the unclogs the pores, makes it easy to get rid of those stubborn blackheads but also helps to increase skin circulation, increases collagen, and helps with sinus.

Dr Ross Perry explains the benefits of an at-home steam, "It’s a great way to switch off after a long day. A steamer helps to unclog pores and loosen excess dirt and built up toxins, but it will also help with the overall circulation of the skin, which promotes collagen and elastin production.

It helps increase oil production which in turn naturally moisturizes the face, and then there’s also the added benefit of helping with sinus congestion if you’re suffering with a cold - particularly if you add essential oils".

Who can use it?

The good news is- it helps with all skin types. Since, the steamer is mothing but a simple device that uses normal drinking water (that already suits your skin), it could be used absolutely by anyone. It’s a great way to log off after a tiring busy day. We may not realize what our skin goes through daily, it’s not only external dirt but also the skin gets affected from the stress, fatigue that we go through every day and sooner or later it shows in the form of breakouts. The facial mist steamer is an excellent way to relax the skin, it promotes natural oils that acts as a natural moisturizer. It also gives an additional support to your daily skincare products and routine. Your skincare routine will have more effect after you steam your skin and then apply the products.

What’s wrong with using a hot towel?

If you like the old-school method of using a steamed towel to your face, we have some point of concern about the method.

You may not be entirely sure about the temperature of the towel. Our skin very sensitive, especially when its subjected to extreme temperatures. When you are putting the towel into the boiling water and then take it out and put it on your face, you are never sure about the temperature. It can adversely affect your skin after a few uses. Whereas, the temperature in the facial steamer is machine controlled to an optimal temperature, suitable for the facial skin.

Make sure that your kettle is limescale free. The UK is notorious for its hardwater. More often that not, we see that huge sediments of limescale form in the kettle where you are boiling the water. And these scales would ultimately go into the towel that you’ll use on your face. You surely don’t want the germs to sit on your skin and harm.

A pocket size hand steamer is easier to use. Owing to its tiny size, the mist steamer easily comes in your palm and makes it suer-easy to use. All you need to do is- fill it up with water, push down the switch, and then it automatically sends out a nice mist. With towel you got to heat it carefully, maintaining the hygiene, temperature and the also drying it up for a long time.
